The never ending project

We’re Ewan and Bev – a family of four who believe that adventure doesn’t end when you have kids, it just gets better. For us, time together is everything. Whether we’re immersing ourselves in new cultures, sampling unfamiliar cuisines, or chasing a bit of adrenaline, travel has always been our shared passion.

Our story began in 2010, as sweethearts in a church youth group. A few years later, just after turning 25 and finally able to rent a car, we kicked off our first big adventure – a road trip through Central Europe. That trip sparked something in us, and we’ve been chasing the thrill of the open road ever since (as much as life, time, and budgets allow).

Before the pandemic, we dreamed of getting a van, converting it to suit our family, and setting off to explore the world at our own pace. That dream had to be paused – but now, it's back in full swing and right at the top of our list.

We will not stop until we’ve visited as many of the 193 UN member states, 265 UN-recognised countries and territories, and as many of the 1301 NomadMania-designated cultural, territorial, economical regions of the world as we can.
