Nepal: Butter Tea, Buddhist Shrines & Yak Farms

From prayer flags dancing over Dhunba Lake to chilly mountain air in Lo Manthang, we found beauty at every turn. We sipped salty butter tea with locals, climbed hundreds of steps to sacred shrines despite thin air, got playful with yak farms and realised that some of the most unforgettable parts of travel are the quiet, unexpected ones.
