We’ve finally reached a huge milestone. The exterior build is officially complete! From the nerve-wracking process of cutting into the walls and roof to seeing the custom roof rack and ladder installed, the van is finally looking like the adventure vehicle we imagined.

Our Nepal journey wrapped up with unexpected wildlife, peaceful temples, and heartfelt goodbyes. From leopard sightings on safari to home stays in Dhangadhi and a quiet afternoon in Lumbini’s sacred gardens, these final days were slower, sweeter, and full of reflection.

Before Nepal, Syria, or any big-ticket trips, there were small towns, school moves, family holidays, and childhood memories. This is our story up to 2010 from Kendal and Newcastle to summer holidays abroad, the roots of why we travel today.
